I was the product photographer for Sixteen Cypress, an equestrian sporting goods company. As the product photographer for Sixteen Cypress, I have the opportunity to work closely with CEO Emily Factor (granddaughter to Max Factor). The brand specializes in high-quality, stylish horse tack and rider accessories. In this role, I capture both staged and action imagery of their products, collaborating on product placement and creative direction to produce visually compelling content. My work focuses on creating elevated, stylistic images that align with the brand’s identity and can be used effectively across marketing platforms. During these three sessions, we captured her products staged as they would be in a studio and in action, on horse's backs. We worked with three horses to model her products Filson (One Hot Sports Model), KJ (Shesa Hot Selection), and Peanut.
It was incredibly rewarding to support Emily and later see my work featured on the brand’s website and displayed at her AETA booth. What I love most about Sixteen Cypress is that it represents more than just equestrian equipment—it reflects intentional design that supports and enhances the connection between horse and rider. With that in mind, I approached each shoot with the goal of capturing not only the product, but also the beauty, emotion, and meaning behind the brand. Through every image, I aimed to highlight the balance of craftsmanship, design, and equestrian tradition that defines Sixteen Cypress.
